March 23, 2020
We have made the decision to go ahead and cancel our spring basketball league. The vast majority of our area schools have extended their closures of schools until April 27th. We all realize that date could extend even further. Therefore, we are going to cancel our spring league. If things change dramatically for the good in the next month, if the opportunity would arise, we would try to have a late May tournament. However, we’ll have details for that down the road.
With the cancellation of our spring league, we turn our attention to our 2020 CNR Summer League. To give you the details of our summer league:
- June 8 – July 31 on Monday thru Thursday evenings
- We have divisions for grades 3 thru Varsity. In the summer, we go by the grade you will be in the next school year. So if you are a current 6th grade team, you’ll sign up as a 7th grade team for the summer.
- The cost of the league is $70 per game. You decide how many games you want to play.
- Start times for games will typically range between 5:30pm and 9:15pm.
We wanted to get this information out to all of you now so you can start planning ahead and figuring out your conflicts for the summer league. Once you know those conflicts, just click the link below to register your team:
For those of you who paid in advance for the spring league, let me know how you want to handle your refund. If you paid for the spring and plan on playing in the summer, the easiest is to just carry that payment over to the summer. If you paid but don’t plan on playing in the summer, just let me know and we’ll get a refund to you .
Thanks,
Jeremy
